YOU'LL NEED (makes 1 bunny egg):

  • Bunny ear templates (download here)

  • Scissors
  • White felt, 4" square
  • Chalk or pen
  • Pink felt, 3" square
  • Hot-glue gun
  • White pipe cleaner
  • Blown egg, dyed or painted pink
  • 2 small black craft beads
  • 1 pink craft bead
  • 6" black aluminum wire (save-on-crafts.com)
  • White pom-pom or cotton ball

  1. Print large and small ear templates and cut out with scissors. Place large template on white felt and trace shape twice, using chalk or pen; cut out. Place small template on pink felt and trace shape twice, using chalk or pen; cut out. When done, you should have 2 large white ears and 2 small pink ears.
  2. Center a pink ear on each white ear and glue in place. Cut 2 2" lengths of pipe cleaner. Center a pipe cleaner on the back of each ear and glue.
  3. Cut 2 2" pieces of pipe cleaner and shape into loops. Position loops just below the bunny's waist, pointing toward top of egg, and glue in place. Gently fold loops down.
  4. Using photo as guide, position ears; glue in place. For eyes, position black beads and glue. For nose, position pink bead and glue.
  5. For whiskers, cut 6 1" lengths of floral wire; adhere 3 whiskers to each side of nose with glue.
  6. Glue pompom or cotton ball tail near bottom of egg.
