Button-Eyed Pumpkin Craft

Use buttons to create creepy faces for your Halloween pumpkins—no carving necessary!

Button-Eyed Pumpkins

Narrow white ribbon (about 1/8" wide)
Oversize 4-hole black buttons
Small buttons
Hot-glue gun
Pumpkin, hollowed out from the bottom and cleaned (optional)
Black rickrack

1. For eyes: Thread a narrow piece of white ribbon through buttonholes (for buttons with four holes, make an X pattern). Or, glue a small button to center of large button. Glue to pumpkin.

2. For mouth: Cut a 10-inch piece of rickrack; glue to pumpkin. Glue a small button to each end of rickrack. For nose (if desired), glue on a button.
