Looking for a fun way to celebrate football season? Build your own mini field goal game for instant entertainment.
What You Have:
What You Need:
- Brown construction paper
- Liquid Paper or Wite-Out
- 4 craft sticks
- Yellow paint
Make the football: Fold a piece of brown construction paper in half lengthwise, then fold it in half again, creating a long, thin piece of paper about 2" wide.
Put the paper strip vertically on a table and fold the bottom corner up to make a triangle.
Keep folding the triangle over itself so that you’re left with one triangle made from several layers of paper. Tape the football to secure it in place.
Use Liquid Paper or Wite-Out to paint laces on the paper football.
Make the goal: Glue three craft sticks together to make a U shape, then add the fourth stick to the bottom of the U to finish the goal.
Allow the glue to dry, then paint the goal yellow and let dry.
Play ball! Balance the football vertically on a table with your index finger. Have someone hold the goal at the other end of the table. Using the index finger on your free hand, see if you can flick the ball and launch it through the uprights.
