These cute Easter egg critters are easy for adults and kids to craft.
- Construction paper or medium-thick card stock (light pink, dark pink, purple, yellow)
- Dyed eggs (hard-boiled or blown)
- Mini pom-poms (black and pink)
- Black permanent marker
- White-coated wire
- Glue dots
Step 1: Make the ears
Cut out ears on construction paper or card stock, using contrasting colors for inner and outer ears (you'll need two of each per bunny egg and you can use our templates here). Glue inner ears to outer ears. Fold back tab at the bottom of each ear. Gently attach to eggs by taping down tabs.
Step 2: Design the face
For eyes, glue two black pom-poms to each egg, about 1/3 down from the top. Glue on a pink pom-pom for the nose. Use black marker to draw a mouth.
Step 3: Add whiskers
Cut four pieces of wire about 3/4-inch long for each egg. Use glue dots to adhere two whiskers on each side of nose.
