Hang a shooting star

Team painted cocktail sticks with fake jewels to create delicate star ornaments.

YOU’LL NEED (makes 1 ornament):

• 16 wooden toothpicks • 1 small block Styrofoam • Red spray paint • Pencil • Red plastic jewel • 2" x 3" red card stock •  Scissors • Glue gun

Stand toothpicks in Styrofoam. In well-ventilated area, paint them red; let dry.

Trace outline of jewel onto card stock; cut out. Glue toothpicks onto cut-out card, fanning them to make a star shape.

Glue jewel to card, covering tips of toothpicks. Let dry.
