You'll need:
6 mums, or any fresh flowers
A glass chip-and-dip bowl
1 pillar candle
Pinecone florets (available at craft stores)
Dried star anise
1. Trim the stems off the flowers.
2. Fill the bowl with water until it's two-thirds full.
3. Place the candle in the center where the dip usually goes; surround it with flowers. Add pinecone florets and star anise
at random throughout.
