Charlotte the Spider Costume, from Charlotte's Web
• 1/2 yard black fabric
• Cotton balls
• 3 pairs black gloves
• Black sweat suit with hood
• Black yarn or string
• Black sneakers
• Purple face makeup
1. Sew 2 tubes (about the length of child’s arm span) out of black fabric. Fill with cotton.
2. Attach 2 pairs of gloves to ends of each tube; sew or safety pin tubes to back of sweatshirt. Use yarn or string to attach arms to each other and to sleeves of sweatshirt (so all the arms will move together). Put sweat suit, sneakers and last pair of gloves on child.
3. Apply face makeup and pull up hood.
