Brain Freeze

Brain Freeze

Carve a daringly realistic brain out of a honeydew melon by using an X-Acto knife or paring knife to replicate channels in the rind. Then place it in a large mixing bowl. In a second bowl mix up four 3-ounce packets of strawberry-flavored gelatin according to package directions and pour over the melon until it is fully covered. Refrigerate overnight, then scoop out the melon with a large spoon or spatula. Scrape away some of the gelatin, as shown.
