Fashion this adorable arachnid out of jet-black roving. Punch a medium-size ball with felting needles to make the flat body. Then felt a smaller ball for the head and eight skinny legs. Join the pieces by overlapping them slightly on your work surface and punching the needles through the overlap to unite the fibers. Felt small white-and-black eyeballs, and join them to the head. When finished, attach the spider to a pie-size pumpkin with straight pins.
