Creep out party guests with googly-eyed spiders

Transform plastic water bottles with scissors and black spray paint.

YOU'LL NEED • Scissors • 12 empty (9 oz.) water bottles • Drill with 1/8" bit • Black spray paint • Black string or raffia • Craft glue • 24 mini googly eyes

1. Cut bottom off each bottle, leaving 4" to 6" for legs (length can be different on each bottle). Cut 8 leg strips, up to top, near cap.

2. Drill hole through top of cap. Spray-paint bottle; let dry completely.

3. Cut 12 lengths of string. Tie a knot on one end and then slip unknotted end into bottom of bottle and through hole in cap.

4. Glue 2 eyes to each cap to make spider head.
