Looking for a fun way to celebrate winter? Build your own snow globe in three easy steps.
What You Need:
- Small plastic animals or trees
- Empty jar and lid, with label removed
- Strong glue (such as epoxy or a hot-glue gun)
Attach the toy to the inside of the jar lid with glue. Allow time for the glue to set.
Fill the jar with water until it is just about full. Add about ½ teaspoon of glitter for the “snow.” Add about 10 drops of glycerin to keep the glitter suspended.
Apply glue around the lid and, while still wet, screw it on tightly. Do this over the sink. Some of the water/glycerin mixture might get displaced and spill out, but that’s OK. That ensures you have filled the jar up as much as you can. Wipe off the outside and shake.
