Use leftover corn husks to make this classic fall craft.
- Dried corn husks
- Remove husks from corn. It's best to use pliable ones, but if they're already dried, soak them in water for 10 minutes to soften. Gather together four to six leaves, and tie one end with yarn.
- To create the head, fold all the leaves up and over the knot you just made, then tie them together to form a neck.
- For arms, take another husk and roll it lengthwise into a tight tube. Tie at the ends to create hands and slip it between the body of your doll. The tie another piece of yarn beneath the arms at the waist. If making a girl, you're finished. For a boy, divide husks into two sections and tie at the knee and ankle.
