Give guests a scare

Give guests a scare

A wreath on the door is usually a welcoming sight, but one that has numerous pairs of staring eyes sends a very different message.

YOU'LL NEED • Black floral spray paint • 24 silk flowers • Assorted artificial foliage • 14" straw wreath form • 8 yards black grosgrain ribbon, No. 9 width (about 1") • Hot-glue gun • 8 pairs of googly eyes, various sizes

1. Spray-paint flowers and foliage. Let dry.

2. Wrap wreath form in ribbon. Use a dab of glue to secure ends.

3. Glue flowers and foliage to form, starting with larger blooms.

4. Arrange pairs of eyes on finished wreath; glue in place.
