Instead of throwing them out, reuse yogurt cups, cereal boxes, milk jugs, water bottles (and more!) to make easy, affordable decorations for your home.
Wine Cork Picture Frame
MATERIALS: Acrylic paint in various colors, paintbrush, unfinished 7¼″ × 9½″ wood frame for a 5″ × 7″ photo, box cutter, 14 wine corks, hot-glue gun.
1. Paint frame in a color of your choice as the background (Jessica used white); let dry. Apply a second coat; let dry.
2. Using box cutter, cut corks into ¼″-thick slices. To cover a 7¼″ × 9½″ frame, you need about 108 slices.
3. Paint slices in a variety of colors; let dry.
4. Arrange painted cork slices on frame, beginning with corners; glue in place.
