1. When using essential oils topically for children and babies, always dilute it with a carrier oil, like coconut oil or olive oil.
2. Never put essential oils directly into the eyes or ears. If this happens accidentally, use a carrier oil, like olive oil, to remove it. Do not use water.
3. Some essential oils, especially citrus essential oils, can cause your skin to be extra sensitive to sunlight. Use caution when using these oils topically on areas that will get extended sun exposure.
4. If you choose to ingest essential oils, always make sure that they have a "dietary supplement" label on the bottle. Also, only put essential oils in glass or stainless steel containers, never plastic or Styrofoam.
