Your A to Z guide to making everything you own last longer
Always follow wash instructions as indicated on tags and labels. To keep colors vibrant for longer, wash in cold water, which prevents colors from bleeding (and will help keep your electric bill low!). Turning clothes inside out before washing can also help them keep their color. And hang or line dry when possible since the dryer can slowly wear away your clothes (the lint trap is trapping pieces of fiber from your clothes -- that means they're slowly falling apart).
