Focus on Prices for Thre Whole Months
Go to the store every week for 12 weeks, and record prices for each item on your list. Over the course of that time, you'll notice sales trends and will have identified your "buy price"—the lowest one in the cycle—for each item.
- Sarah Roe of moneysavingqueen.com did it! "It's important to stick with it for those first few months. You can't predict how long a sales cycle is. I've learned that the length can really vary: Some stores' are 6 weeks, while others' are as long as 12 weeks."
