“Cook less and season better. Raw or lightly cooked veggies fresh from the garden don't need a lot of butter, salt or sour cream to be delicious. We grew broccoli for the first time this year and I was amazed at how sweet and tender even the stalks were. Lightly steamed snow peas are wonderfully crunchy and flavorful. Using fresh herbs from the garden was also a treat. And scrambled eggs with chopped chives make you want to sing!”
