When and why did you start blogging? I started blogging six years ago to keep in touch with my husband while he was deployed in Iraq. After he was injured during the deployment we got serious about our finances since we didn't know if he would be able to work again. After getting out of debt and living off half our income I decided to change the direction of my site—from a memoir to a "how to"—so I could help other families who might be facing similar financial challenges.
