Scouring pots and pans
HOW OFTEN? Two or three times a year
- Outdoors or in a well-ventilated space, simply spray the bottom of your pots with oven cleaner, then place in a plastic bag―a grocery bag or trash bag will work―for a few hours to keep the solution from evaporating.
- Rinse (if you’re working outside, use a hose), then wash with soap and water. To avoid damaging the cookware, check the manufacturers’ guidelines before cleaning.
