Timing is everything if you want to avoid shrinkage and wrinkles.
• Remove clothes from the dryer while they are still slightly damp—the heat your garments retain will continue to dry them.
• Shake and fold each item, smoothing as you go.
• Beware of overdrying, which can cause shrinkage and wrinkles. If your machine has a moisture sensor, use it.
• Minimize wrinkles by removing clothing as soon as the cycle ends. Hang or fold each piece while still warm, smoothing seams, flattening hems and sleeves and straightening collars and waistbands. It's okay if items are still slightly damp. They will finish drying from retained heat.
