Sanitize your sponges

Synthetic sponges and kitchen cloths are handy, but after a few uses they can start to smell. Rather than tossing them out, fill your sink with water, add a cup of bleach and soak them. That kills bacteria, gives the sponges a fresh scent and cleans your sink at the same time.
