Washer and Dryer
Most washers and dryers last 10-15 years, but like refrigerators, newer models are much more energy efficient. So if yours is getting close to 10 years old, you may consider switching to low-energy model. Keep in mind: top loading washers with an agitator in the middle are the least energy efficient and use the most water.
