Book Review: One Season of Sunshine, by Julia London

For Jane, this summer is a time of soul-searching. Adopted at birth, she’s looking for her biological mother so she can understand where she came from. Meanwhile, she’s writing her thesis, working as a nanny for a family with two kids and dealing with a boyfriend she isn’t sure she loves. Asher, her employer, is a workaholic dad who has had a difficult time connecting with his children since the tragic death of his wife. He, too, must face a spotty past in order to move forward. As Jane and Asher grow closer, they help each other discover what it means to be there for the people you care about, to let others in and to take a chance on trusting your family—old and new alike.
