  • If your recipe calls for 1 cup of cake flour, 1 cup of all-purpose flour (minus 2 tablespoons) will suffice.
  • 1 cup of self-rising flour can be replaced by 1 cup (minus 2 tsp.) of all-purpose flour plus ½ tsp. baking powder and ½ tsp. salt.
