3. Lead with your upper body.

Hinge forward slightly from your hips and let gravity help move you as you walk. Your upper body should tilt just enough to keep your shoulders over your hips. Make sure to keep your arms and body moving only in the direction you're headed, without much side-to-side or up-and-down movement. Don’t lose the forward tilt when you walk. Your posture should not be completely upright.
