Bend your arms to 90 degrees and swing them back and forth along your body like a pendulum, focusing on the backward motion. Your hands should go back no farther than your lowest rib. The cadence of your arms should set your pace―move them faster if you want to walk faster. Don’t let arms dangle or swing wildly across your body.
