Spiderweb Tablecloth

Spiderweb Tablecloth

Customize a plain tablecloth with spider-adorned ribbons, which can be removed right after the party.

YOU'LL NEED • Silver glitter glue • 2" plastic spiders • Ruler • Scissors • 1.5" wide silver ribbon • Glue gun and sticks • Plain tablecloth

1. Smear silver glitter glue onto each spider to add shimmer. Let dry.

2. Measure diameter of your tablecloth (this project works best on round or oval tables), then add 12 inches to that number. Cut 4 lengths of ribbon to that final measurement.

3. Space spiders 2 to 3 inches apart on ribbon strips and secure spiders using glue gun. Lay tablecloth on your table and arrange ribbon strips on top in a spiderweb pattern.

Plastic spiders, $4 for 144 pieces; www.orientaltrading.com. Silver ribbon, May Arts, $25 for 50 yards; at Paper Presentation.
