Loaded with proteins, vitamins, and minerals, eggs are a healthy and affordable choice when it comes to breakfast—or any meal, for that matter! Don't fall into a rut with your standard scramble: Here's how to make soft-boiled eggs, poached eggs, deviled eggs, and more. Time to get crackin'.
Poached eggs are perfect over toast, English muffins, sauteed or roasted vegetables, and more. But this technique can be a tougher one to master: Bring a large pot of water to a simmer. Carefully break 4 eggs into the water. Cook for 1 minute. If eggs begin to stick, loosen from bottom of pan with a spatula. Poach for 3 to 5 minutes, to desired doneness. Remove with a slotted spoon.
You can also find plenty of specialty pans and handy products to help poach eggs. We particularly like the silicone Poach Pod.
