Gingerbread Spice Rice Krispies® Treats

Nonstick cooking spray

1 cup light-color corn syrup

1 cup sugar

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3/4 teaspoon ground ginger

3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® cereal

2 cups white baking pieces



1. Line a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with foil, extending foil over the edges of the pan. Lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. In a large saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and spices until smooth. Add KELLOGG’S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well-coated. Press mixture into prepared pan. Set aside.

2. In a small saucepan, combine white baking pieces and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Chill until set (about 30 minutes). Cut into bars.
