If you'd prefer not to grill, broil the chops. Place them on a foil-lined, rimmed baking sheet and broil them 8 inches from the heat source until an instant-read thermometer registers 145°F, 16 to 18 minutes, turning once. Shift the chops around on the baking sheet if necessary for even cooking.
