Dividing a whole chicken into pieces sounds like messy work (53 percent of ALL YOU readers surveyed had never tried it!), but it's easier than you think.
To remove the wings, place a breast half on the board, wing facing you. Grasp the wing and move it a bit to feel where the joint is. Pull out the wing, place your knife on th joint and cut through (cut through the skias well). Repeat with the othe breast half.
