Dress up salads, cakes, breakfasts and more with pretty, presentable orange segments.
To best prepare oranges for salads and other dishes, follow these steps.
- Slice off the top and bottom of the orange.
- Cut off the peel, moving from top to bottom and slicing through the white pith, but removing as little of the orange as possible.
- Working over a bowl, cut between the membranes, allowing the segments to fall into the bowl.
- Squeeze the core and remaining membranes into the bowl to get every last drop of juice.
