Minestrone soup: Stir a can of drained and rinsed chickpeas into tomato soup. Add chopped veggies and leftover cooked macaroni for an easy-to-make minestrone.
Pasta and chickpeas: Saute chickpeas with garlic in olive oil and toss with cooked pasta, a can of chopped tomatoes and grated Parmesan for a tasty supper.
Vegetable stew: Toss a can or two of drained, rinsed chickpeas into a slow-cooker vegetable stew with 10 minutes cooking time left. Serve over couscous or rice.
