This basic pizza recipe is a crowd-pleaser, but feel free to pile on the toppings your family enjoys. Crumbled, cooked turkey sausage, sliced olives, cooked mushrooms or roasted red peppers are delicious. Don’t add the basil to the pizza until you’re ready to serve it. If the leaves sit on the hot pizza for more than a couple of minutes, they will turn black.
