Still sporting the one-length 'do you had in college? Definitely time for an update! Luckily, there are easy ways to make the change you crave without having to chop away.
• Layer Up: If you have thick or curly hair, ask your stylist for long layers to remove bulk and weight, cutting down the poof and frizz in the process. If your hair is thin, go for face-framing layers, which give the illusion of fullness.
• Bring on Bangs: A wispy, sideswept fringe work on nearly everyone. As a bonus, it will disguise a prominent forehead, hide wrinkles and is surprisingly simple to maintain.
• Flip Your Part: Try a deep side part for a night out. Or, for major lift, simply part your hair in the direction opposite the way it naturally settles. It takes just seconds and requires no scissors or salon visit.
