Don't be embarrassed by adult acne ever again! Just cover it up with these easy tips:
- Cover blemishes: Oil-based makeup can aggravate acne. Instead, even out your complexion with an oil-free, medicated liquid foundation (look
for salicylic acid to treat acne and sulfur to reduce inflammation). Then, with a fine-tip synthetic brush, sparingly dot
a concealer that matches your skin tone on any blemishes. Blend around the edges, and gently pat with powder to set.
- Smooth over scars: If you have popped, squeezed or picked at pimples over the years, chances are you now have small pits on your face. To create
a smoother appearance, choose a cakey concealer one shade lighter than your complexion and carefully fill each imperfection
with a small, pointed synthetic concealer brush. Finish with a dusting of translucent powder to keep concealer from smudging.
