Treat your skin right by heeding these summertime dos and don'ts.
DO: Swap Out Winter Moisturizers
In warmer weather, using a rich, thick cream meant to combat the effects of cold, dry weather and overheated rooms can leave skin feeling greasy—and could potentially cause clogged pores and breakouts, too. Instead, reach for a light, nongreasy and fast-absorbing body lotion to ensure that your skin stays silky soft. And if you're swimming in chlorinated or salt water regularly, be sure to shower as soon as you get out of the water each time, using a gentle, hydrating body wash rather than soap. It can remove drying residue without sapping skin of moisture.
