3. Fasten your bra at the loosest hook, so that you can tighten it as it ages and the elastic starts to wear. Never over wear your bra or it will lose its elasticity and form -- just like shoes. It's recommended to alternate between two bras in a week, washing after three to four uses.

To make your bras last longer, hand-wash them in cold water using a gentle detergent and leave them to air-dry. If you machine-wash your bras, use a lingerie bag and the delicate cycle.
