Keep your fall and winter boots looking great no matter the weather—and for years to come—with these easy tips, including how to clean leather boots, how to waterproof leather and suede boots, how to store boots, and more.
How to Polish Leather Boots
If your boots have laces, remove them. Make sure you’re boots are clean and dust-free so they can soak up the polish. Apply shoe polish (we like Kiwi products) evenly over the leather with a brush or soft cloth—even a rag does the trick nicely. Let the polish dry overnight, and buff the surface with a shoe brush. Keep in mind, if you’re polishing brown and black leather, you’ll need a separate rag and brush for each color.
Another option? Some brands also make instant polish products, like Kiwi’s Express Shoe Shine Sponge. These shortcuts eliminate the need for any buffing post-polish.
