Try a no-sew technique
What you'll need:
Felt rectangles in each of the following colors and sizes: 20" x 20" piece of lavender, 25" x 25" piece of dark blue, 12" x 12" piece of pink, 8" x 8" piece of turquoise and 6" x 6" piece of leaf green
Scissors
Fabric glue
20" white square pillow
How to make it:
1. Cut out four 5" flower shapes from lavender felt, five 5" flower shapes from dark blue felt, four 3" rough circle shapes from pink felt, five 2" rough circle shapes from pink felt, five 1 1/2" rough circle shapes from turquoise felt and four 1 1/2" rough circle shapes from leaf green felt.
2. Assemble flowers by layering shapes (see photo).
3. Glue them together when you are happy with the layering.
4. Arrange assembled felt flowers on front of pillow and glue in place.
Make a geometric pattern
What you'll need:
Scissors
White felt rectangle
20" blue square pillow
Fabric glue
Needle and blue embroidery thread
4 decorative floral buttons
How to make it:
1. Cut four rough rectangle shapes from felt square.
2. Stitch around edges of rectangles with blue thread.
3. Sew one decorative floral button onto each rectangle (see photo).
4. Attach rectangles to front of pillow with fabric glue.
