Cool down with 5 fruity drinks

(Continued)

Cherry Pop

Serves 2
Place 3/4 cup cola, 2 cups frozen cherries (not thawed), 1 cup nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt and 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice in a blender and mix until smooth. Serve in tall glasses.

Go retro. Serve this sweet smoothie in old-fashioned soda fountain glasses.

Pineapple Slush

Serves 4

Pour 34 oz. pineapple juice into a freezer-proof container, cover and freeze for at least 2 hours. Remove from freezer and take off lid. Stir with a fork, breaking up ice crystals. Pop back into freezer for 2 hours longer. Remove from freezer, spoon slush into glasses and serve.

Try other flavors. Don't like pineapple? Try grape, apple or orange juices.

California Cranberry-Berry Smoothie

Serves 2
Puree 1 banana, 1 cup frozen low-fat raspberry yogurt, 2/3 cup cranberry juice, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries and 1/2 cup frozen raspberries in a blender until smooth.

Swap the yogurt. Can't find raspberry frozen yogurt? Vanilla would be just as delicious.
