The Reality-Checked Diet -- Week 12: Pump up your workout

Congratulations! You have made it to the final week of the ALL YOU 12-Week, Reality-Checked Diet! The past two weeks have focused on cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise to burn fat and calories. The final week of the diet adds toning and muscle-building exercise to the mix. The goal of Week 12 is to keep up your three, 30 minute-workouts and add one 10-minute strength-training workout a week.

Muscles are active tissues and burn calories throughout the day, even while you're sleeping. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn.
