It's swimsuit season, and you don't want to be seen in the dressing room, much less at the pool. Get over it! Here's how to overhaul your outlook and think positively about your figure.
Value your strength. Maybe Victoria's Secret isn't banging down your door, but your body is something to be proud of. Think about all the amazing things it's done and can do, from creating your beautiful children to hauling heavy groceries.
Work it for a good cause. Sign up for a charity walk, run or bike ride; Active.com offers lots of events. You'll be using your body in a positive way: to raise awareness and funds to help children with leukemia or birth defects, or to cure devastating diseases like AIDS, multiple sclerosis or breast cancer, for example.
Have more sex. A great way to love your body is to remember how much your husband loves it--flaws and all. Book some extra "share time" in bed, and you'll be reminded of (and rewarded by) how well your body works.
See how to give your kids a positive body image.
